When are you going to live for yourself
I guess I have started to blog certain feelings or thoughts I have had while I am at work, if you haven’t noticed I am a Database Analyst and basically spend all my time on a computer at work. Recently, over the past year or two I would say, I started reading alot more into social acceptance as a culture and social standards people are expected to uphold and how people “mold” to their acceptance while others rebel to the idea of conforming. While reading into this I started to notice my points of views have changed to certain degree, I started to look at my life and situations all different. I feel like so many people are beaten to this predefined path that they feel they must abide to due to years of enforcement from their parents or superiors and they never get to really “live”. I am sure it differs for everyone, with their outlooks on life, and I didn’t mean for this to be this long, but I guess what I am saying is, when do people take a step back and look at the world and realize, you have one life, infinite amount of possibilities, and the world is huge. Fuck taking the safe, frequently traveled road. One day when you are not happy at work, which will happen, or you are bored, just pack up and go. Go to where you want to go. I am saving up to go, and I will not regret it, because we only live once and when I look back, whenever I am about to die, hopefully no time soon, I will know I saw everything I wanted to and had no regrets or what if’s.
